My first tower outlet order and have already ordered a second. Every outlet works. Love the retrackableable cord, making it very neat. I can't stand cords running everywhere. The handle on top comes in very handy for picking up as well as plugging and unplugging. Love the power on / off levels. I have a touch lamp that the touch quit working quite some time ago. I have it plugged into a level that I now just push the button on & off rather than plug and unplug every time.

Like the tower effect, separates the plugs and spaces the plugs and transformers without losing outlets. Lightweight and not too tall. Has a nice extension cord that seats inside the unit rather than fully extended if not needed. Wish it were UL approved however. Vendor needs to hire an American or someone to translate some of the almost English presentation on the box, was almost decent. Like the product so far for the money paid.

I have not been fond of using extension box or the power port. But when i got this one , i was so skeptical of its cord length and functions. This doesnot disappoint me. It really works great. Cord length is appropriate. separate on and off switch which helps us to use only when the port is required. 4 USB ports is awesome one.

Very happy with the wide spacing of the individual plugs. I did NOT buy this for a computer, and I would not trust the surge protection. It is NOT a name brand. Further, after reading some of the reviews, I wouldn't plug any kind of computer into something like this.... buy a REAL backup like APC, it's NOT worth the few dollars saved to lose all your data.That said, this was perfect for my needs. I just wanted a bedside tower that is compact and I could plug fat plugs into like chargers and such, which are oversized and take up 2 plugs worth of space in a strip. This does not disappoint. I'm talking about plugging in a couple of lights, heating pad, massage unit, and charger. Not a lot of wattage, nothing that a small surge would damage. For that, this is ideal, and the price is reasonable!

Works for my needs - I needed one or two always on, and several switchable for the PC, monitors, etc. I like everything powered off when I'm done, no standby power, without turning each device off individually. Power ON indicator light a good idea. Outlets were firm, without being difficult to insert plugs. Retractable plug keeps things neat.

My only reason for dropping a star was I would have liked a longer cord and, whilst the outlet tower rotates, you really just end up with the cords from other devices wrapped around the tower so it's of no real value or benefit....in my opinion anyway.

Like everyone, I generally use extension strips for A/C but often find the small transformers end up using two sockets due to their size or orientation. This design takes up more vertical space but wall warts can be isolated from other sockets meaning all the sockets are usable. In addition the USB ports are so convenient for charging electronics. Everyone who has seen mine wants to buy one. Highly recommended.

The tower is very light, which was surprising considering the amount of plugs it can take. Other than that, it works great. I connect all plugs behind my desk and cannot reach under so this is perfect when I need to reach down and raise to add or remove a cord.

I think this design is cool and I had never seen power sources like this up until a year ago here at this store. Call me living in the yonder (LOL) but I know a wonderful deal when I see one and when you have a lot of cords, adapters, usb cables, etc., etc., you tend to have a hodgepodge ocables and cords growing out of the woodwork. I have purchased 3 of these already and you can see how easily they save space and any connections coming from the power sources are organized and uniform. Plus they look good. They�re great as gifts and also to have as a spare or 2 around the house. I recommend the power source Monday thru Sunday. Just ask me. ??????

I bought a previous outlet tower before buying this one. This item is far better, and user friendly. The handle at top, and the way the cord is wound makes it easy to adjust. I have it on my desk, with several electronic items plugged in. I don't have to crawl down to access it.

Almost all of this type of devices, surge protector or not, have the cord coming out of the same end as the switch (because it is cheaper to make). You either have to reach through all the cords to get to the switch or find some way to deal with its own cord. This APC surge protector has solved the problem. While the photographs do not show it, the power cable can be turned to go in either direction! This means that the switch can be placed where it is convenient and all the cords go together out of sight. It is well made and provides good protection. The outlet orientation are different so they more easily accommodate wall worts and regular plugs. The power switch goes on easy but a little more effort is needed to turn it off - probably because it also resets the circuit breaker. It is a little expensive, but the convenience of having the cord go in either direction is well worth it. I usually look at the Joules and go as cheap as I can for the Joules I want but that has changed since I tried this APC protector.

I bought this because I needed more outlets for my gaming area and someone i know recommended this product. I looked at others before choosing this one and have to say, I really like it. It's small and compact, and still gets what I need it to do done. The switches on the sides to turn off separate plugs is very nice, because you can have a few items on, and not have the whole tower on and not being fully used.

I had a regular power strip that was taking up way too much room on my work desk. I replaced it with this power strip and it is working perfect. The footprint of this tower is very small, yet there are many, may plug-ins. I like where you can turn on each set of plugs and there is a red light when that row of plugs are active. The individual plugs are also tight. I have no problem plugging in pretty large adapters without worrying about them falling out. it helps me saved a lot if space.

I put this power strip under my computer desk and it really cleaned up the mess of wires that were plugged into two different 6 outlet power strips that had several extension cords added to them to make room for large power supply plugs. This single tower power strip now holds all my plugs including the large power supply ones and it takes up less space under my desk. I now have more room for my feet when I sit in my desk chair and I don't have to worry about kicking one of the plugs out. The ANKO vertical power strip has a lot smaller footprint and it looks much neater under my desk without all the extensions cords and plugs scattered around on the floor. I can say without hesitation this was one of the best purchases I've made lately and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a power strip that won't take up a lot of floor space.

I really like this item! It has enough USB slots for all my charging needs (Kindle, Fitbit, phone, Fire tablet). There are plenty of plug ins too. My apartment has only a few outlets, so this item made the outlet by my bed a lot more efficient.

Basically it is awesome!* Nice looking design.* On/off switches for each 'floor' makes it very handy to organize one's appliances and avoid extra lighting at night.* Easy to pickup when cleaning: just grab the top handle and mop.* While I have not used the UBS ports, I think it is very smart to have spare ones.* Retractable cable ensures neatness when placed in plain sight.Super content with product. I purchased this 'Power Strip Tower, ANKO 3000W 13A 16AWG Surge Protector Electric Charging Station, 10 Outlet Plugs with 4 USB ports...' about two months ago, and it is still working great. When my husband passed away in December, I inherited his very disorganized office area formally known as our dining room table. One of the first things I did was to buy this power and USB tower and place it on the table. I can now reach over and access the power outlets and USB ports frequently and effortlessly. I can also power off the layers I am not using if I need to. This unit is very convenient.

I have purchased many of these for my computer systems. I even got one this one for my grand daughter when she went to college. The retractable cord reduces the mess. The upright design keeps cables off the floor and the USB power outlets lets her charge her many devices as well.

I like being able to keep my iphone and Kindle charged and still keep my reading lamp plugged in. I used to charge my Kindle from a wall plug but the cord kept getting pulled out. This solves all those problems. Great product.

Recently purchased this for my coffee table to help with the amount of devices that need charging in our home. It works very well for that purpose. The usb ports provide quick charge for our phones which is nice.Things to be aware of. If turning the tower to access ports on the opposite side the cord will begin retracting. This isn't a huge problem as you'll only start to lose length after a couple turns. Only real draw back is the high pitched electric buzz that comes from the usb ports when they're on. You can turn the ports off when they're not in use but if you're sensitive to these sounds it would be good to know as it's definitely audible and can get annoying.For myself the benefits out weigh the cons and I'm happy with my purchase.

In my job we use a LOT of rechargeable gear, from 2-way radios to camera battery chargers and flashlights, portable 12v battery packs and power tools.All of this plugged into flat linear power strips turned into a tangled mess after awhile until it became a real irritation to try to sort it out. Seeking a solution, I thought about using one of these little power towers, and the results were much better than expected.POWER SAVINGWith four 120v. outlets per level with an individual switch controlling each level, it's possible to leave one section 'on' for those things which need trickle power or for chargers which are used frequently and turning them off and on again is a hassle, while leaving off the other levels which have power-wasting 'wall warts' that use power all the time and convert it to heat energy just for being plugged in. It won't save the world, but every little bit is a step in the right direction. I used to turn off the entire power strip but now that's taken care of.Speaking of switching, a bright red LED indicates which level is energized. The switches have a positive click and feel like they'll last awhile.For the newer high-current-demanding USB chargers and phones, the Power Strip Tower passes over 2+ amps through the USB-A outlets. I have a GoPro which likes lots of amps and this unit handles it just fine.Because the outlets are positioned in the outside surfaces of a square, you can arrange the longer-than-usual 'wall warts' so they don't interfere with each other, and the spacing between the 120v. outlets is generously wide, and so far I haven't had any conflicts for side-to-side real estate. Even a Mackie sound mixer's wall wart fits in there and it's pretty big.I've saved the best for last. In the quest for a cleaner and better organized work area, a power strip's own cord can be an offender, but not with this charging station. The power cord goes inside the base, and by using the handle on top, you can reel in the excess cord length so the cord is as short as possible. It's so simple it's just brilliant. I didn't realize it did this and had to laugh when I saw how the designers handled it.Every once in awhile you may acquire something, thinking, 'well, why not, it might work' and then are surprised to discover that the product exceeds expectations to quickly become one of those things, 'why didn't I get one of these before?'The clich� that some doo-dad 'makes a great gift' is as shopworn phrase- but I'll bet dimes to doughnuts that any handy-person with lots of rechargeables to wrangle would love to have one of these.

Perfect storage solution for all of your charging needs. My one complaint is that the plugs have bright red lights to show which are powered on, and at night that glow can be distracting. Other than that, does exactly what it should!

I wish I would have known about tower power strips before! This thing is amazing! It keeps everything organized and on top of that it allows you to turn off sections of the strip. So my usb section of the strip is always powered off unless I need to charge a device!

My favorite aspects are the retractable cord and the power switches to control each bank horizontally. The issue I have is that in order to extend the retractable cord further the entire column has to swivel / spin which is very problematic when items are already plugged into it, forcing the user to unplug the items in order to get additional cord length pulled out. Other than that foible it so far works great.

This is a wonderful product and I will be purchasing more. It is vertical, duh, you can tell be the picture. You can charge using the usb ports or use the outlets. This is great because so many do not have enough outlets and not all plugs are oriented the same way. This allows me to arrange the plugs that are awkward in a manner that I only have to use one surge protector and not two. You will not be disappointed.

Works but the on off switches are a little awkward - when you push the switch to turn on/off, you need to support the 'tower' in order to complete the action. This is because the unit is light. But it works. I just plugged this unit into another power strip, a flat one, and use the flat strip to turn this whole tower on / off.

I like this tower better than traditional power strip surge protectors simply because it's more accommodating with larger plug ends. The USB ports are a nice bonus. Recommend for anyone looking for an item like this.

This is a handy and long-needed tool. It charges the many USB rechargeable accessories for my well-lighted bicycle, as well as some of the more peculiar rechargeable items. I LOVE this Power Tower!!More than enough room for all your bigger or side way plugs. Click of the button will either turn on/off that row, and the light let's you know that row is on/off. Extra long cord so you can reach that outlet. And if you need to take it on the go, simply rewind the cord back into the base. And just like a regular power strip, I'm able to hide this away from view.

When I purchased this item I didn't realize that the cord wound up into the base. Nice way to keep the extra cord out of the way. But you have to hold the top part while twisting the bottom. That is a little difficult once you have cords plugged into the top.

I really like this product. It has a lot of plugs plus the usb outlets for phones, watches, iPad etc. The base rotated which is convenient and the plug for the tower is hidden in the base so you only pull out as much as you need. Each section has a turn on button and that area of the tower illuminates with a nice orange glow. It is not too bright just enough to warmly highlight the plug area. I love this device. I will order more.
